Cheong Kong Wai, Founder and CEO


Kong Wai is currently in charge of charting the company’s strategy and managing the overall business operations of Conversant. Prior to Conversant, Kong Wai has over 10 years of experience in venture capital investments with SingTel Ventures, Viventures Partners SA and Evia Capital.


He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore in 1997.  He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst with the Association for Investment Management and Research since 2002.



Adam Twiss, Chief Technical Architect


Adam leads the software engineering team of Conversant. Adam founded Zeus technologies in 1995 from his student bedroom. Zeus grew from there to be 120 people in offices around the world, powering in excess of 1,000,000 websites from the likes of Ebay and Comic Relief to NECBiglobe. Zeus consistently led the industry standard SpecWeb benchmarks.


From Zeus, Adam went on to co-found CacheLogic, developing one of the world's first P2P caching solutions. CacheLogic rapidly grew into a multi-national organisation, selling to Tier 1 ISPs across the globe such as Singapore Telecom, Cable & Wireless and Virgin Media.


In 2006, Adam spearheaded the technical transformation of CacheLogic into the world's first P2P assisted Content Delivery Network, Velocix. Velocix sold services to content owners around the world, with a customer list including BBC, Telecinco, Verizon and Mediacorp.


In 2009, Velocix was acquired by Alcatel-Lucent at which point Adam went on to work with the team at Conversant as their Chief Technical Architect.



Wan Zahara, Chief Financial Officer


Zahara is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial reporting, consolidated accounting records, legal, administrative, human resources and payroll functions. Prior to Conversant, she has over 10 years of accounting and financial management experience with Deloitte & Touche and NewsPage.


She obtained a Diploma in Accountancy from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore in 1995.  She has been a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom since 2000. 



Bryan Amesbury, Managing Director UK


Bryan has significant experience in early stage businesses having, himself, raised over $60m from a number of institutional investors including 3i Group PLC, Cazenove Private Equity, UBS Warburg, Amadeus Capital Partners and Sumitomo Corporation.


In Bryan's ventures, he acts as COO over seeing all strategic operational planning, management reporting, contract negotiations and overseas expansion.


Additionally, Bryan has significant experience in commercial negotiation on a global basis. Bryan has spent time living in the US and Asia whilst building regional offices and is well versed in the commercial complexities in dealing with companies from North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.


Bryan's portfolio of former ventures he's co-founded includes Zeus Technology, Saviso Group, CacheLogic and Velocix.
